Snowbird

On Pioneer Day this year Verite held a family fun day at Snowbird for all of their employees and their families. It was a total blast! We got there around 11am and got our wristbands for the day. The boys jumped on the bungee trampolines first while I took Talia on the Mountain Coaster. She was just barely big enough. Thank goodness she was because it was her favorite thing. She rode it 7 or 8 time throughout the day. After our first couple of activities we met up with the rest of the Verite group for a catered lunch on the patio. It was fun to visit with everyone and the lunch was delicious.

After we ate we headed off to play some more. I ended up hanging out with grouchy, tired Beckett for awhile. He had some down time in the stroller and we went inside to cool off for a bit. Luckily one of Ian's co-workers volunteered to take Talia on the Mountain Coaster a couple of times while I was with Beck. Thanks Courtney!

We took advantage of the Verite photobooth before it was closed, then spent the rest of the afternoon playing. We took the tram up the mountain and checked out the view. Talia liked the tram a lot. Weston didn't love it because it was so high up, but he was a good sport. Beckett was pretty fascinated by the ride and was happy to finally be included in something. He was too little to do most of the activities.

After the tram we did the Mountain Flyer which is a kind of fast zipline ride. Super fun! No one ended up doing the actual Alpine Slide. Oops. The boys did more bungee tramp jumping while Tal and I went on the Coaster a few more times. Beckett was content to be in his stroller and watch the very brave chipmunks skittering around.

Ian took Weston to go on the Mountain Flyer again while I watched the other kids on the bounce houses. By this time the crowd was starting to thin out so the kids had the bounce houses almost to themselves. Beckett finally got brave enough to get in and jump and even climbed up and did the slides by himself! He was so proud of himself and had so much fun!

We were all pretty exhausted by the end of the day. We headed home around 5pm. I was tired and sore and headachy when we got home, but the boys really wanted to go to our neighbor's for Cul De Sac of Fire. Ian volunteered to take them down there, which was so nice. They had fun doing sparklers and watching the fireworks. I took meds and went to bed. It was a very good day! Thank you Verite!
