No, Ian is not having a dinosaur themed birthday party. Although Davin would think that was super cool if he did. The Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point has been around for 10 years and they are celebrating this week with a birthday party! Lots of the dinosaur skeletons are wearing party hats and in the lobby they have birthday activities, like face painting and games, and crafts. We invited another family in our ward to go with us on Tuesday to the birthday celebration. The kids all had a great time. Weston loved doing origami. He made a dinosaur head that chomps. Face painting was a big hit. Even Davin sat still to get a dinosaur painted on his face. And, of course all the dinosaur skeletons and sand play areas were a blast. If you live in the area I highly recommend you take your kids to the dinosaur birthday party before it ends this week!
And your den is looking fabulous! I needed a nap just reading about your 4th of July weekend ;) Home improvements projects are very time consuming but so worth it in the end.
A little about us . . . Ian is a Graphic Designer and Shannon is a Mommy, Cook, Housekeeper, Accountant and Activities Director. We live in Salt Lake City, UT in our first home! We have a 5 year old son, Weston, a goofy 3 year old, Davin, and our newest addition, baby Talia. Life keeps us busy and joyful!

i think it's so cool that you are always going on fun outings with your kids. They must think they have the coolest mom!
So cute!!! I love the birthday hats on the displays, that's a great idea. :)
Way cute Shannon. That is so neat that you live so close to that museum!
