Talia had her evaluation with DDI Vantage a couple of weeks ago. It was interesting. A group of three different therapists came over to our house and played different games with her to test her fine and gross motor skills, communication, social-emotional growth, and her hearing. She responded pretty well, but after about half an hour started trying to scootch away and just play with her own toys on my lap. She is doing just fine in all of the tested areas except her gross motor skills. She has a delay there. Now she will be meeting with a physical therapist twice a month until her goals are met. Her goals are to take 3 independent steps four out of five trials to help her on her way to walking independently. Her other goal is to crawl on her hands and knees. I'm excited to see her make progress. We love our sweet Talia girl!

She is getting so big and oh so adorable! Love all the hairdos!
I'm glad she tested good in most all her categories. I have a friend whose daughter wasn't really walking still at 18 mos and she did something similar where therapists came over and worked with her. In a few months she was on track and everything was great :)
